A dog care space in the making

Where dogs
feel at home.

The Weston Way will be a small dog boarding space with private suites, fewer dogs at a time, and care that stays personal.

Small on purpose.More time and attention for each dog.

A few dogs at a time

Fewer dogs.
More time for yours.

Your dog shouldn’t feel like one of dozens.

We plan to care for a small number of dogs at once so we have time to learn who they are, what helps them settle, and when they need something different.

Less crowding means more room, less constant noise, and more one-on-one attention. Every decision still comes back to one question:

“Would this make your dog feel more at home?”

What we’re building

The plan,
so far.

We’re focused on day stays and overnight stays. The goal is simple: enough space to move, a separate place to rest, and care from people who have time to pay attention.

01

A suite of their own

Overnight Stays

Each dog will have a roomy private suite with its own lighting. Bring a bed, blanket, or favorite toy from home if it helps them settle in.

02

Space to play and rest

Day Stays

A day with indoor and outdoor time, breaks when they need them, and a small enough group that no dog gets lost in the shuffle.

Rescue at heart

Years with rescue dogs taught us to look past first impressions, learn the individual, and adjust the care instead of expecting every dog to act the same.

Why we’re different

What a stay will
actually feel like.

We’re not trying to be the biggest boarding facility around. We’re building a smaller place where dogs have room, families know who is caring for them, and communication doesn’t get lost in the crowd.

01

A few dogs at a time

We’re intentionally staying small. Fewer dogs means more time to learn routines, notice changes, and give each one real attention.

02

A roomy private suite

Every dog gets their own cozy, separate space with individual lighting—not a spot in one large, crowded room.

03

A quieter setup

Dogs bark. That’s normal. Separate suites help cut down on the constant noise and give everyone a better chance to rest.

04

A little bit of home

A familiar bed, blanket, or toy is welcome and encouraged when it helps your dog feel more comfortable.

05

Updates you can count on

Because we’re small, communication can stay personal. You can expect honest updates and photos of your dog during their stay.

06

Come see it first

Once booking opens, you’ll be welcome to schedule a meet-and-walkthrough before your dog’s first stay if you’d like one.

Experienced, individual care

Rescue work taught us to pay attention.

Years of caring for rescue dogs have shown us how different one dog can be from the next. We’re comfortable adapting routines and administering medications when needed, with everything discussed and clearly documented before the stay.

Before any stay

Clear health requirements for every dog.

Every dog will need to be current on required vaccinations and preventatives before staying with us. We’ll publish the exact checklist before bookings open and require proof so the same rules apply to everyone.

Our story

It started with
rescue work.

The Weston Way grew out of years spent caring for rescue dogs with very different histories, needs, and personalities.

Some dogs arrived full of confidence. Others needed patience, consistency, and time before they felt safe again. Those experiences taught us something we won’t forget: every dog is different, and good care has to make room for that.

Some need room to play. Some need quiet. Some simply need someone willing to meet them where they are. That belief is the foundation of everything we’re building.

Real rescue dogs. Real lessons in patience, consistency, and care shaped around the individual.

The first rescue

Meet Koby
“Weston” Way.

Before The Weston Way had a name, there was Koby.

Twelve years ago, Koby was found as a puppy in a Walmart parking lot, in bad shape and needing help. Bringing her home changed everything. She was the first rescue—the one who started years of rescue work and, eventually, the idea for The Weston Way.

Her silhouette became our mark because she still reminds us what matters: taking the time to understand the dog in front of you and helping them feel safe, known, and at home.

Follow the journey

Here’s where
we are.

We’re now at step three: building the space. The Weston Way isn’t open yet, but the plans are becoming real. We’ll keep this timeline current as the work moves forward.

01

Foundation

Listening & learning

Years of rescue work and life with our own dogs are shaping what this place needs to become.

02

Planning

Designing the details

We’re working through the spaces, routines, materials, and practical choices that help dogs settle in.

03

Now

Building the space

The plan is becoming a real place. We’ll share honest progress, including what changes and why.

04

Next

Opening thoughtfully

We’ll welcome the first dogs carefully, at a pace that protects the calm experience we’re creating.

The feeling we’re building toward

Every dog
is different.

Some want to play. Some want a quiet corner. Some want to be right beside you. Good care starts by noticing the difference.
